I have a Windows 2000 Pro system which has the Novel Client Logon (4.3.3), normally if one wishes to by-pass the network logon one chooses workstation logon and this permits one to logon to Windows 2000 Pro desktop using the windows userid and password.

I changed the domain name and now I can't logon to either the network (which is okay) nor can I logon to the Windows 2000 desktop, even in safe mode with networking disabled - I know that the userid and password are correct, any suggestions would be most appreciated, thanks

Many people here are experts in Windows 2000 Pro. They (and me) may have not used Novel before. Is there a seperate forum? Also try more detail.

Have you tried looking under the advanced tab of the Novell client. There is a section which contains the Windows login details, have you changed these yet to reflect your new domain name etc.

Use the local administrator userid and a password, you'll receieved a failed error login from your novell but you can go in. After you can go in, create a userid and a password that is similar to your Novell userid and a password.
Logoff and then login.
