I have a customer that has NP 12 installed. They recently changed the name of the server and rebooted. Now when they try to log in, it says the administrator is already logged in. They are the only ones trying to log in. Any way to clear this?

You log into a nupoint using the FQDN. Have they updated their DNS entry for the server?

They have. The problem is they can not log into the server. When you have the DNS wrong it will not bring up the page.

Change the name back
Maybe it works again ?

Webmany, what you say is not exactly true. You can log into the MAS System Manager without FQDN but not nupoint admin. Are you sure the system is not displaying cached pages.

Maybe a better description of the problem would help?

What exact URL for example.

Try resetting the account.

To manually unlock the web console perform the following steps;-
1) Log in to the console ( or a putty session) as user root using the root password
2) At the main Nupoint Menu select X to exit to the Linux (#) prompt. Confirm the exit with the Y key
3) Type the following command to unlock the Web Console (the command is case sensitive so type exactly as shown)

/usr/vm/bin/unlocksona

4) You will be prompted to provide the administrators password so type it in
5) Confirmation that the interface has been unlocked will be displayed

If this does not work, try a reboot.
