cant Get Samba to Work

i have i machine with linux mandrake 9.1 and a machine with windows xp

the problem is that mandrake can view windows shared files but window will not allow users to accsess mandrakes files

it keeps prompting us with a username and password screen

I suggest you follow the steps on

-> documentation. There's a bunch of step by steps there that'll help a lot. Might seem bland but worked for me!
