here is the deal right now i have email hosted by local isp . the company split so i had to migrate half of the email users to a new email address.what i did was registered a new domain , had local isp host the dns servers and and they setup everything . I then had them direct all mail and webserver traffic to my ip addresse outside of my firewall at this point i made an entry in my firewall at port 25 to redirect to mail server and at port 80 to my webserver. Ithen went into exchange 5.5 admin chose connections and got the routing tab added my new domain. I setup a new recipient I can send out but not recieve. unable to telnet port 25 from outside it times out .any ideas

So you have the internet connection going to the firewall, which has port 25 open, and is directing mail to port 80 on the mail server ?

Would you not want the data to go to port 25 on the mailserver aswell ?
