I am trying to add a computer running Windows XP Media 2002 to an existing domain. The option for domain info is grayed out. I checked to see if it was able to be added to a domain and not just workgroups. I know it has the option available in this version (not 2005 version)but i can't figure out what I have to add or change. I am familiar with network administration and i have been over the settings many times as well as clearing out and starting over.
The only option I have at the present is workgroup level.
I am just not familiar enough with Media edition to make any sense of whats going on. I'm sure when I finally figure it out I will feel like an idiot but for the time being I feel like an idiot anyway so I thought everyone should know.
