Hello
Subject : Cant Edit Files in Folders other than system folders when created in Admin mode. (Too long to fit in subject textbox)
I got a new CPU with Win XP Pro SP2
Initially I was using the Administrator account and created a folder say C:\Folder1 with some files.
After a week, I created an user a/c under User group and started using this a/c when connected to the net.
Unfortunatley it seems I cannot edit any file in C:\Folder1 since it was created in Administrator mode.
I can create a new file in C:\Folder1 and edit that but no file I can edi that was created in the Administrator's mode.
I've used Win 2000 etc before and the only folders in which the files are non-editable were in C:\Program Files, C:\Windows and C:\Document & Settings\except current username
Now all of a sudden in WinXP, if I created a file in C: using Administrator mode, I cant seem to edit it in User group mode.
I would like to know how to get rid of that setting ? Right-click folder and Security is not there as in Win 2000/2003.
BTW, Windows new Firewall is running but I dont see any option to change there.
Thanks
Anjanesh
