Hello,

Whenever a particular user inserts clip art into a Word document and tries to draw an arrow or line, the clip art will "jump" out of the way. I noticed that if you reformat the picture "layout" to "tight" or "square" it works, but not by using the default "in line with text." If anyone else logs into the machine they can draw using the default formatting.

Any ideas?

Thank you,

Jay

AnotherITguy,

When images are inserted into Word, they are inserted as in-line objects. You must go into the format to CHANGE in-line to another.

You might not come FORTH on the FIFTH! [bomb][tongue]

I think I understand what you're saying, but that doesn't seem to be the case. On my PC, when I insert clip art I can immediately "draw" lines and arrows on the clip art with the default formatting set to "in line with text." The problem is when a particular (the only person with the issue) user logs in, when they try the exact same thing the clip art will jump out of the way. Then you have to manually go in and change the way the picture is formatted in order for him to be able to draw on the clip art. Both of our settings "appear" to be the same, I can draw using "in line with text," he can't. This is the problem. Any idea why this happens?

Thanks,

Jay
