Can't Drag Items out of Library

My library items can't be dragged to the stage. I have done
everything from reinstalling Flash 5 to performing a clean reinstall of OS 9. Any advice?

i cant see your computer or anything, but i have had that happen to me before...all my layers were locked ;) Hope it helps ;)
