I recently moved my files to a home directory on a new W2K server. I have full admin privalages in AD and on the server. I can't save anything to my folder because it's marked read only, and I can't change it. If I'm logged on as admin or myself, it doesn't matter. Any ideas? Thanks.

Make sure you or the Administrators group owns the folder(s) in question. Marc Creviere

I am administrator of the folder, and the domain. I'm not using quotas. The file has the box checked "This folder is read only" I can uncheck it, and hit apply, but when I select properties, the box is checked again.

I had that problem on my W2K servers. To resolve it, I removed all security settings on the folders in question, had the Administrator reclaim ownership and then reset all the permissions. This resolved the issue although I never figured out what actually caused the problem.

Tried removing all security settings. Only thing left was the admin account and it had the ownership. De-selected read only, added myself back again and I still can't save changes. Bummer
