Can't Dial-in to make admin changes anymore 1

Our phone system will no longer output information to a remote terminal. We can dial the modem and connect, but then it just sits there. I have changed modems, cables, nothing seems to work. I can still login through the terminal directly connected and it works fine. Any suggestions?
 
CHECK IN LD 37 TO SEE IF THE TTY IS DISABLED

I have had this problem a few times this week, what I found was in procomm I had hit the Start/Stop Script button by mistake. it drove me crazy till I figured it out. Also last week I had to reset the PBX modem once. Hope this helps.

Thanks for the very quick help. TTY 3 was disabled, the only thing I can think of is a storm rolled through and knocked our lightning detect network out and maybe this too. Thanks for the help.
 
Would somebody be able to provide specifics on doing this? I have a feeling this is the problem with one of our switches, and do not have documentation on LD 37. Or perhaps point me in the right direction as to where I can find good documentation (I couldn't find it on nortel's site).

On another note, You will want to make sure the modem is in dumb mode and set to no echo. Or your TTY port will keep disabling. I personally use US robotics modems (work the best) and use the following command string.


AT&B1&W&W1
