can't delete items from my outlook

I can't delete items from outlook anymore, i must drag them to a folder, delete that folder, then delete it from my deleted items to get rid of the damn thing. anyone have any idea as to why my outlook is doing this? thanks

no worries, figured it out, the deleted items folder can only hold 16,348 or something like that and i had a little more than that, so i can delete things now. thanks.
