i have MS Windows 2000 Server with SP2 installed, it's a PII 300 Mhz with 8GB of harddisk of which 5GB is free space and the ram is 128MB

i want to convert the FAT32 partition to NTFS, the convertion happens when i restart but i get this message: Can not convert because you don't have enough disk space, i am using the right command: convert c:/fs:ntfs

is there a way to sort this problem without formatting it.

You need to erase some of the files on your hard drive.
The conversion needs free space for temporary files. Glenn A
