Working with 2 pc's, one laptop. 2 PC's are running Win2K Pro, laptop is Win2k Server.

Laptop can see the other two pc's, and can map to drives etc. But other 2 pc's can't see the laptop. There has to be something that I am missing, but neither I nor another has been able to determine the cause.

Any thoughts, etc. I am not running any software firewall etc.

Help is appreciated.

Are you using AD?
HOW's DNS configuration too?
Can you ping the server from your clients? Gia Betiu

If all of your computers have the same workgroup name: (i.e. workgroup)
change the two pc's to something else.
reboot
join the domain
reboot
Then they should be able to access the files if they are shared and have the correct permissions.
fyi: if you have Items or office setup on the two PC's they will have to be re-installed when you join the domain
