Hi,

i've got an NT 4.0 workstation with a normal networkcard. installed the card and it worked fine. Now a collegae of me has deleted the TCP/IP settings. When i re-installed the TCP/IP protocol i first get the error: Failed to initialize the network. Check if another instance of agent is running.

After that there comes the message that at least one service hasn't started. But ín the services of control panel all services wich should start have started.

No the biggest problem. We can't access the network anymore and if I want to configure TCP/IP I can't get the properties to show up.

thanx in advance

Go to event viewer (start -> programs -> administrative tools (common) -> event viewer) and look at the message to find out the service, plus other appropriate messages, that haven't started and report back.
