Can't change name prefix on Call Pilot 100 or 150 1

I read all the info on this thread from back in March. I need to install mailboxes 111 thru 119 on my Call Pilot. I have just tried to change the name prefix by pressing 2 and going through the prompts. It DOES NOT prompt me for a Name Prefix so that I can change it. This is through the telset. I also tried through the browser. it appears I am changing it but when I submit, it doesn't change it. I have a CICS. I have tried this with 2 Call Pilot 100's and 1 Call Pilot 150. I get the same result with all of them. No prompt for name prefix, but not allowed to set up these mailboxes. I have to install this tomorrow and cannot change extension numbers as the customer has used these extension numbers on their Talkswitch for a couple of years. Is it the software version that is an issue?? I have 3.0, 3.1 and 2.0. (bad economy, overstocked with equipment) Have tried them all. first time on tek-tips. HELP!!!

As it stated in the other thread you must tick the box labeled "Enable user interface" to be able to change the prefixes. Try changing the prefixes to 71 & 72. That has usually worked for me. Keep trying different combinations if that doesn't work, 51 & 52, 61 & 62, etc. The prefixes can't conflict with the current dialing plan.

Oh, I see. Turn it on so you can turn it off. One more thing, I have not been able to find just exactly WHAT "name prefix" is. Can you enlighten me? Thanks, you saved my day.

I've never used this feature, so I really don't know. Hopefully someone else will jump in here on that question. Glad you got it resolved.
