My boss told me this morning he couldn't call out to the area code 313...

So I tried myself and sure enough I get a busy when I call any number in that area code. Any other area codes I tried worked fine...and the 313 worked fine from my cell...

I was reading through threads about COR and FRL, but I'm not getting anywhere. The COR for our phones is 1 which has and FRL of 3...Now what? Can I check what FRL 3 is set to? Help, I'm lost...

Also, I think I came across a screen once in which an admin could block certain area codes or dial strings or somthing like that...Is this correct?

I would really appreciate it if someone can point me in the right direction.

CB,

Follow these steps:

Check to make sure your ARS table is correct for the 313 NPA. You can post that here. [command: change ars ana 1313]

Next, take the route pattern 313(if you don't have 313 programmed, then just give me the route pattern for 1) and post that.

Check the route pattern. [command: change route pattern ?]

Post the exact way that route pattern's first line is set.

If you are already sure about everything I said, then just check the FRL of the route pattern and make sure that it is the same or lower than the FRL for the station's COR.

CB,

I think you have 3 as the prefix mark. If so, change that to 1. It's hard to make out what the columns and values are. Let me know.
