can't authorize dhcp server

When I attempt to authorize a DHCP server I get the message "The specified servers are already present in the directory service". The server is not currently authorized though. The server has been through a recent IP address change.

I would try to resolve this via ADSIEdit.

Connect to the configuration container, services, netservices. There you will find info on DHCP.

Sorry I only have a live box to play with otherwise I'd do some additional testing for you but I can't take the chance.
