Cant Add User Trust Issue

I am trying to add a user account to a PC running XP Pro connected to a Windows Server 2003 but keep getting the error "The Trust relationship between this computer and the primary domain failed."

I am logged on as the domain administrator and can even map drives to the server.

I know I must be missing something simple.

Any he;p is much appreciated

Remove the XP system from the domain and re-add it.

I'm Certifiable, not cert-ified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

There are no more PDC's! There are DC's with FSMO roles!
