Hi,
I'm trying to get my other machines to access the internet via the server(win2000).
Here is my setup:

internet<--adsl--win2000--HUB---winme

I can transfer files between the machines. But from my other machines connecting to the hub I cannot access the internet.

Using winproxy it all works, but I do not want use winproxy.
I think it's something to do with the dns on the network card of the win2000 box connecting to the hub.

What dns/setup address should I be using. Or is there something else.

thanx

Assuming its ICS you want to use, you first need to enable sharing for the device connected to th DSL, No wfrom here I have seen client machins work without any other configuration and then Ive had some I had to enter the ISPs DNS server addresses and add the local IP of the 2000 box as the gateway to the clients wanting to access the net. (all this depends upon your current IP scheme as to which way youll have to do it)
