Can't access folder 1

I'm trying to retreive data from a hard drive that's been removed from a dead notebook computer. I've hooked it up via ASB adapter to another system. I can see the folders, but some of the user folders under Documents and Setting are unaccessable. When I try to open the folder, it says Access is denied. I assume this is because it is a password protected user account. Is there any way to retreive the data?

Try this. You might be up against it if you are talking about encrypted files and folders.
