Can't access CMC

Hi,

I'm using metaframe XP on W2k-sp4. Since few days ago I can access CMC anymore.

If I choose preferred server, it gives me error message: failed to connect to preferred farm server <server name>. There is no error on event viewer.

When I choose second server: The data store for this farm is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later.
And I get event id:3615 :

Any Idea?

Hi,

If all your servers are working fine, I'd say that your DSN has become corrupt and needs re-creating.

How do you go about recreating the DSN?

It sounds like the IMA service is not running.
I've had this happen to me a few times and it all comes down to a print driver.

Try this, go into your services and set your print spooler to manual or disable. Reboot the server and see if the IMA service starts. (usually it does)

You might want to clean out the c:\winnt\system32\spool\printer directory as well.
