can'r receive e-mail from outside

hello,


I install exchange and windows 2003. I named the active Directory nameactivedirectory.local instead of nmeactivedirectory.com the proble in that now I can send e-mail but cannot receive before I did this configuration the e-mail server was working fine. I also notice that when I send an e-mail to the outside shows user@nameactivedirectory.local. I don't know if I have to add a DNS zone or what???
