Hi all, I have a BJC-4650 and its giving problems when going to print.
First of, its a Win98 machine and I have relaoded the drivers a couple of times and got the latest one form the net, but I dont think thats causing the problem...
What happens is that when a print is spooled the printer spools and the ink cartridge moves back and forward along the page in long and short movements as if it were printing and the page comes out with absolutly nothing on it. Its really strange, its like the cartridge doesn't reach the page or there is no ink left, but its a fairly new cartridge and it has been working with this before.
I tried a clean of the cartridges and a manual clean as well....it seems as if the ink is coming out as each time it does a 'print' as there is fresh ink on the ink heads...
any suggestions anyone....?????
thanks... Jay~

I have noticed with the older Canons that the print cartridge caddy goes out often. It is the caddy that holds the cartidges in. I am not sure if this model uses one or not but if it does it could well be your problem.

this is a ecp epp thing check it So long and thanks for all the fish.
