Cannot view attatchments in Outlook Express 6 1

When I recieve email with an attachment, I see the paper clip icon, click on it, and see the name of the file that is attached, but it is greyed out. When I forward it to another computer, I am able to open it without a problem. So I know that the attachment is arriving.

Is there a way to turn this feature on and off?

Howdy:

Start OE and go to Tools>Options>Security..

Now, uncheck "Do Not Allow Attachments, etc".. Apply and okay out..

It works fine, just like when I first installed it. Don't know what happened to change the setting, but then again, it is Microsoft.
