Cannot send outgoing e-mail !!!! Help

I have Exchange 2003 Server. It was receiving and sending but now I can only receive but not send. I have checked everything looked ok.

Can anyone help me?

Start with a check on the queues to see WHY it cannot send.
Also check the Eventlogs to see if anything shows.

Did someone close up port 25? Check that the default virtual smtp server is up and running.

check if port 25 is open by attempting a loop-back telnet on port 25.
What antivirus scanner are you using on the machine? We had an issue with McAfee Virus Scan 8.0i closing port 25 automatically.

Port 25 is incoming to receive. What are you all refering too?
It can be closed, and you can still SEND then!
