Hello all!

I have 3 computers. One is the 2000 PDC with DNS configured. Another is also a 2000 server that I can see and work with on the net. The third is an NT4 server that I cannot see or authenticate no matter what I do, even though DNS is configured to see OSs that are previous to Windows 2000. Is this a notorious problem with Windows 2000/Active Directory networks, or I don't know what I am doing :)

Thanks for your help, John.

Hopefully you are running Active Directory in 'Mixed Mode'.
This allows you to use both Windows 2000 and NT servers.
If you have gone 'Native Mode', it is my understanding that you will have to upgrade the NT server to 2000. :-(

Thanks, Darrin. It's running in mixed mode. Never mind everybody. I activated and configured WINS and since then I don't have any problems.

Cheers, John.
