I appreciate this has been answered many times, so please either redirect me or let me know the solution...

I have a windows 2000 server with AD, my clients are xp pro and windows 2000.

When I first install a new machine, you can see all the computers on the network. one machine I did on Monday can no longer do this...it just shows up blank.

On the Windows 2000 machines (Not all) it just says network is not accessable?? all the shared printers / files are working and everyone is logging to the domain with no problems, I cant understand why this happens on clients for no reason,

We are using dhcp. Is it WINS? I dont have much experience with WINS (Apart from what it stands for!)

Would appreciate this,

Thanks Guys

When you install win2k server, RAS will be there as a default installation, maybe somebody did some RAS testing before you and forget to take out some entries there. To solve your DNS problem, you really have to address and understand the RAS mysterious IP (10.10.10.61) there, it must be removed or reconfigured. If your worries is your VPN connection ask your vendor or investigate because I suspect you are using hardware VPN which may or may not use RAS after all.
