Cannot save password in IE 6

I know I am missing something simple, but I cannot get IE 6 to save my internet user name and password. I have to reenter each time I log in. Help.

Are you using a DUN or do you connect with ISP's software. Who is your ISP?

Are you talking about filling out a username and password on a website? Or are you referring to your Dial-up login?

If it is at a website, then you're probably looking for the "autocomplete" feature in IE. Go to Tools -> Internet Options -> Content and click Autocomplete. You'll see the option to enable usernames and passwords.

Is this a case of where you are on the dialup screen and the "save password" is greyed out?

IE Options >> Connections tab >> select the connection you're using and click the "Settings" ?? button >> Advanced and enter you're info there
