Cannot Recieve mail from outside the network

I am running Excange server 2000 sp3 on a windows 200 server system. The server is the only computer on the network. Nothing is being blocked by my ISP but i cannot figure out why i cannot recieve mail. I can send and recieve within the network and i can send email over the internet, just cannot recieve. I have very little knowledge of exchange server(thats probably the problem) and was just hoping someone could help me out.

Did your ISP setup the MX record to point to your Exchange server?

I'm Certifiable, not certified.
It just means my answers are from experience, not a book.

Do you have a recipient policy configured for this domain?
The MX record appears good for jnpdistributors.com.
