Not sure what happened to the system but when an incoming call comes in, you dial the 3 digit extension, it says that it is not a valid extension and goes back to the auto attendant message.

The extensions work fine between each other, voicemail works fine, just cant get at the extensions from the outside world.

Works the same be it night service or not.

System is a Merlin Legend with Audix voice mail.

ZeroKelvin,

On some voicemail systems You have to assign a mailbox for the autoattendant to do the transfer (i can't remember on the audix off the top of my head). There is usually a transfer only class of service.

Assuming this is a MErlin Mail or Merlin Messaging or Intuity, then off the autoattendant, the first digit field of the autoattendant must be enabled to do a direct extension transfer, and not a single digit option. For example say your extensions are in the 100-199 range on your phone sytem. If you also have option #1 1 off the autoattendant transfer to "somethwere else", then every time the caller enters 1xx for the extension they want, the caller will be transfered to the "somewhere else". Also if option #1 off the autoattendant is not enabled to do a direct extension transfer, it won't work either. If this is a Merlin Messaging VMS, then make sure the voice mail ports off the Legend are "rotary enabled".
