I have a problem with one computer running IE v6.0.2800.1106 on Gateway laptop, windows 2000 pro o/s v5.00.2195 sp4. at some point could not print from IE. print preview shows blank white screen w/blue bar at top. selecting print icon or 'ctrl-p' does nothing. can not print from outlook express either. can print from everything else. thx in advance... (I am able to print if logon by administrator but not regular users)

cannot print from IE 6.0

I have a similar problem with a Dell Dimension running Win2000 SP4, fully patched according to windows update. Trying to print from IE6 results in nothing happening as is the case with Outlook Express. Trying to access page setup in IE makes it lock up. This is true both for administrator and user profiles.
Run IEFix, checking the SFC optional setting:
