cannot ping to internet from internal network

Hi all,

got MS proxy server 2 on an NT4 server. I can ping to the external facing IP address on the adsl router from all clients on the internal network, but if i try to ping my isp's dns server, i get time outs.

Has ping been disabled or something, or is this a routing problem through the Proxy?

Any help would really be appreciated!
