Hi
This is all bit new to me.
Cannot Ping the outside address of firewall or the router that is attached to it. Both are in the same network. The inside is in a different network. The nat is set to 1 0 0
Any ideas would be great.
All I have is a ISDN dial-on-demand router for a few users at a remote site. I just want to put the firewall between the router and the rest of the domain and prevent possible access from the outside world (Internet) when connected, and limit the use of functionality to users ie ftp, hotmail (of which I do not know the port number) and certain Internet sites etc. etc. The bosses orders not mine.
Incidently can hotmail attachements be blocked or scanned.
Thanks
Helfenmir
