Cannot ping ip phone from ld 117 1

Hi

I cannot ping an i2002 phone from ld 117, the phone registers ok, calls go to phone but cannot be answered, also calls can originate from phone but cannot be answered.

Any idea's on what i can do to fix this?

Do all other phones in the same subnet ping?
Could be data switch port or the phone itself.

The Succession Media Card was disabled, i enabled it and everything is good, any ideas what could cause that card to be disabled?

You can not ping the set from the elan unless it is routed on the customer's network. Normally the elan is not routed. Try it from the SS command line.

Good call, the phone is working now and i still cant ping the phone

I really need to get to school for this stuff reading pdf's and lurking in this forum is ok but i think some global knowlege courses would really help.
