Cannot Ping computers but are visible in net view

I have a server and two computers running w2K pro on a site within a domain and all can ping each other and are visible in net view. on another site within the domain i have 6 computers again running w2k pro and visible on net view and can ping each other what they cannot do is ping the other site within the domain.
The two sites are seperated by satelite link but this isn't the problem at the moment as it is bridged through a satellite replicator - physically 2m apart.
The subnets, gateways and dns are set correctly for each site. I have flushed the dns and then displaydns and all seems ok but still not able to ping.

This may help: Im not to sure of your server situation but;
On the Servers on each site configure Routing and Remote Access and either add a static route for each network or configure RIP or OSPF. The router or server needs to be configured to be able to accept IP addresses from different networks.
