When a user attempts to open a collegues calendar to look at his appointments user is able to do so, but cannot create new appointments or open/change existing ones. The error message is: "Can't open this item. Unable to open the free/busy information." If you restart outlook works fine for few appointments, and than again gives you error message until you restart outlook again.
I have reinstaleld outlook, reloaded all of the updates, tried the "outlook.exe /freecleanbusy" command but that did not fix the issue. I have reassigned permissions via outlook and also via AD, but to no avail , works for a while, and than gives you an error and you have to restart outlook

One pc has outlook 2000 the other one Outlook 2003

Any ideas?

Still no luck with this one- anyone?

I have had some issues with using both versions of Outlook - Do it honly happen to users with different versions? If so, I'd have to say the answer may be to upgrade one of them... Sorry I can't be more helpful.

The question should be [red]Is it worth trying to do?[/red] not [blue] Can it be done?[/blue]
