Cannot open report

Hi

I am using crystal reports10

I could not open up a crystal report
Whenever I am trying to open that report
I am getting the error

"crw32.exe has generated errors
and will be closed by windows"

and entire crystal reports application is shutting down
by itself

I could not open up a report which is regularly used

Could some one please suggest a remedy

Hi,
In your add/remove programs section of the Control Panel, click on Crystal Reports and select the Repair option( Have your disk handy.)

Do you mean to say..that there is an error in the dlls of
the crystal reports.exe installation ?

Hi,
Just a test to see it it fixes it..Sometimes DLLs/EXEs get corrupted or otherwise made unusable.

If you are starting from the shortcut/program item that the install program set up, try this:

Create a NEW shortcut on your desktop and set its properties to point to the CRW32.exe file..Try running from there.
