cannot open Cold fusion admistrator page to link my datasource

I have installed coldfusionmx as a standalone(port 8500) on my machine. I have done an Access database so i would like to link the database to Cold fusion. But when i open the Programs/coldfusion/administrator i keep getting the error file not found.

Could be the shortcut just wasn't set up correctly on install.

Try going to the page directly by typing the URL into the browser:

http://127.0.0.1:8500/cfide/administrator/

Usually, coldfusion asks where your main root of your web server is while it is installed. So, if you provide the correct information during setup, you should not have any problem. I have CF 5 installed in my computer and faced the same problem before. Then I put this in my browser's address bar:

http://localhost/cfide/administrator

or I can put:
http:/127.0.0.1/cfide/administrator
or I simply put my computer's name:

http://myserver/cfide/administrator

and I get there.

I don't think you can even change the webroot for the stand alone CF web server... can you??
