Logon to domain this morning and was running fine, then I log off domain and logon as local user. Went to the properties of My Computer and into User profile. Want to delete an ex-worker profile but delete an "Account Unknown" by mistake and now it would not allow any user or even the domain admin to access the domain (local workstation access is no problem).

When trying to logon to the domain it says "Windows cannot connect to domain, either the domain controller is down or computer account cannot be found".

I have a LAN with about 35 workstations and they all are able to logon to domain with the exception of this one.

Any insight and knowledge is appreciated.

Thanks

Brontosaurus, as usual you are the ONE.

Took the workstation offline (ie. make it a workgroup) and then restart the computer and rejoin it to the domain, restart the computer and then logon to the domain and it works.

Once again thanks.
