In my office on the LAN I can log onto shared drives in another state. I am using Win 2000 in the office. At home I am using win XP Pro, but cannot connect or ping the same shared drives. I log in using Nortel VPN from home. I load the correct Wins and DNS settings. At one time with XP I was able to connect to these shared drives, but for the longest time now I get network path cannot be found. Any ideas what is in XP that will not allow me to log into these drives? I was also able to log into them when i was using Win 98 (from Home).
