Cannot load exchanger medium (Target drive is busy.)

i keep reciving this error messagewhen trying to backup:

Cannot load exchanger medium (Target drive is busy.)

i have looked on the HP web site which do not tell you alot! and cannot seem to track down what the problem is.

I have rebooted the tape drive a few times and this hasnt worked.

any idears what it could be?

do any other clients use the same device for backups? if so are they working ok? what os is the failing client running?

i think i have managed to get it to work now! i had to set it to reload busy media if it had problems accessing it.
