Cannot Join Domain 1

I am trying to join acomputer to my Win2k Server domain. I keep getting an error message that says domain name is invalid or does not exist. But it is valid, I have triple checked and it is the same domain name I used for all the other computers on the network. Its not a cable or other connectivity problem because I can ping the the PC and ping from the the PC. However, I cannot ping the sever from this PC.

Check your DNS settings on the computer you are trying to join. It should be pointing to your W2K server that is running DNS.

You were right on! IP address setting was off by one number.
