cannot get to internet from subnet

I have a Win2k network with 3 subnets. Subnet number one is where the network servers are located. I have a client on subnet number 3 that can log into the network, but cannot get to the Internet. The server is connected to a radio box which has two nic's. Here is the configuration...

Server IP: 192.168.0.58
Default Gateway: 192.168.0.2

radio box IP: 192.168.0.2
external: xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx

The server which is going to the internet is also acting as a router (192.168.3.1). A tracert to 192.168.0.58 gets no further that 192.168.3.1).

Anyone have any ideas...thanks.

have you configured Routing and Remote Access ?

From a workstaion on subnet 3 run a TRACERT to some web site on the internet (ex.

http://www.microsoft.com),

and see where it breaks. I'm thinking your router in subnet 3 doesn't have a default route for any unknown subnets (that would be all of the subnets on the internet).

RAS is configured. Any machine on this subnet would have this problem but this is the only machine on this subnet that will go to the Internet.

Here is the configuration:
DHCP/DNS/RAS Server is 192.168.0.58
Default gateway on all servers except DHCP/DNS/RAS is 192.168.0.58. The default gateway on the DHCP/DNS/RAS server is 192.168.0.2 (the radio box to the Internet). Anyone on the first subnet can get to Internet just fine. Anyone on third could not.

Time for a route print from subnet 3 and see what happens. I'm guessing your routing table isn't correct. Post the results here, and good luck.
