I am really doubt. Please help.

One computer, acting as win 2000 server , install active directory

under windows explorer, I have made share a folder, share name called test, for example.

Under the active directory, under the user in the domain name, (I have one domain only), I create a shared folder and give a name of test2

Of course the user in windows professional 2000 has been created in active directory users and computer, also the network propertites has set to logon to domain.

But....

when double click the my network places, double click directory can return NOTHING, even find function also.

What wrong with me. Is microsoft problem ?

Pls help

I'm assuming that you do have your LAN set up correctly, with both machines in the same subnet. If not, then that would be the first place to look.

Are both machines network settings enabled? How are the patch cords connecting them to the LAN?
