Is there a way to block a portion of a document from being edited when the document is in edit mode. I have a couple of secretaries that types letters and their initials appear in the footer of the document. (I have a macro that programs the initials for them) - now a situation has risen that once the initials are put on that letter that these initials should never be changed. I'm not sure if I created a field and programmed the field for the initials would help--but it seems to me, if the document is in edit mode, the secretary has control of editing anything on it?? Thoughts on this would be appreciated.
