User has change permission to the files she wishes to delete, if she uses her mapped drive to access the file and tries to delete them it sits there for a few seconds and then says file is in use.

If I get her to type in the unc path to the server in the run command box and then try to delete her file, she can.

Of course a workaround would be that I set up desktop shortcuts using the unc path and tell her to use this link and not the mapped drive, but I fear she will forget, and as we are going through an upgrade process on clients and servers I fear this is the first of many of these issues.

Anyone know of a patch to resolve this, a common problem??
