Cannot clear Event Log

When I try to manually clear one of the event logs on my domain controller, I get Access Denied. I am using the built-in Administrator account. Any ideas?

How can you have a built in Administrator account on a domain controller? Or are you using a domain admin account? AD kills local log on accounts.

It's the domain Administrator account. Every domain has one. Not local Administrator.
