Hi all, I'm relatively new to the phone side of Telecommunications and am barely familiar with programming with PuTTY.

Here's the issue,
I have 5 phones whose primary number needs to be something, but it will not allow me to change them for some reason.

When I PRT the DN of the number, I get this:

DN 3591
CPND
NAME NEUROLOGY
XPLN 13
DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST
TYPE L500
TN 156 0 00 14 MARP DES PATACT 8 AUG 2006

When I try to change the primary SCR to this 3591 number, I do this:

REQ: chg
TYPE: 3904
TN 24 1 14 0
ECHG yes
ITEM key 00 scr 3591
MIX
SCH6393

I am not sure what those MIX and SCH6396 messages are, but I think they may be some sort of error.

Could anyone help? VERY frustrated here

Thank you!

DN 3591 appears on two port numbers (TN's). However one is analogue and the other is digital. What you have to do first is to renumber the DN on the analogue phone TN 156 0 00 14 to a different number before you try to change it on the digital port TN 24 1 14 0.

Once you have done that, put the original DN back onto the analogue TN.

All the best

If it's working, then leave it alone!.

Mix is ok but the sch6393 is an error saying that you can't use the DN on another set as it is a phantom dn. Phantom dn's can not be shared.

If its not working, get a bigger hammer!
