On the Nortel Option 11 none of the sets can call forward to a 1800 number. They can forward to LD calls and any other number. If you call any 1800 number directly from any of the sets, the call goes thru ok.Gets a recording from the carrier saying that the call cannot be completed when call forwarding the set to a 1800 number.

Can you forward from a set to a 1800 number? The sets are M2616 and has CFW 16 keys and CLS= CFXA. I took a print of the set and it is forwarded correctly. I have tried different 1800 numbers and have have tried to call forward from DID sets as well as non-DID sets.

The message is comming from the carrier. So the call gets to the carrier.

you bypass bars using the acod.. tgar/targ and nfrl (ld 49) still apply... since your getting a recording from the carrier, trac the call to see what numbers are going out..

because the carrier sends a recording, your getting to a trunk, the digit string may be bad..

ld 80
trac 0 xxxx

Cannot LD 80. No access to Level 2 password on this switch. No one knows the Level 2 password.

Forward the PBX phone to your cell (instead of 800 number) and see what number you are getting on your display....

If you don't have access to any Maint Loads your wasting your time. Just call your vendor and ask them for password 2.

This is a Signature and not part of the answer, it appears on every reply.

This is an Analogy so don't take it personally as some have.

Why change the engine if all you need is to change the spark plugs.

I am now trying to get Level 2 password.

I also asked the client to report the problem to the carrier.
