Hi there,

I seem to have lost access to my companies homepage. We had problems with a DC and after a reboot we lost a number of DNS entries. The problem is now this: We can access all websites except our own. Our internal domain is called mydomain.co.uk and our website is called Obviously the web server is trying to resolve the IP address for our local DNS server but there is no If I add one pointing to the IP address of our webserver it still doesn't work! Please help! We have 1000 users who think the internet is down because their homepage cannot be displayed!!

Thanks in advance!

Thanks for your quick response SivilaS. I've just got it working! Browsing from the webserver was fine and the site was up. Adding the into the DNS did fix it - i was just too quick (or impacient!) Once I'd flushed the DNS on the PC it started working again.

Thanks for your suggestions though - they are good fault finding starting points for the next time the web goes down.

Cheers,

Glenn
